Yesterday Ellie and I went to get the baby’s ultrasound done. The OB/GYN that we are using has a basic ultrasound in the office that they use for quick exams, but for the better ultrasound test they send you to a local imaging center. The results are amazing as you can see by this collage of photos. Click on the small photo to open up a larger version to see the details. You’ll notice that the photo in the lower left hand corner, gives the sex of the baby as………….

It's a Baby!!!

Well, we have known for a few weeks, but the official first picture is in. Ellie went to the doctor today and we got the first ultrasound of the baby done. He or She is very tiny, but you can clearly see the head and torso and the tiny little arms and legs developing. We are so excited. There is much to do before the baby comes, but it is so amazing to know that we are going to be parents. We look forward to keeping everyone updated of all the latest developments.

Great news. This past Sunday, February 26, 2006 I proposed to Ellie. She said YES!!! Here is a picture of us from a week ago at the beach. Now this may seem weird but the two events of my engagement and getting a new cousin are remotely (VERY remotely) related. You see, my new cousin is being adopted from China by my cousin Dan and his wife Sue and I used a Chinese fortune cookie to suprise Ellie with her engagement ring. Small world, he, he, he!!
